Mr. James A. Perkins, of 311 Bank St., departed this earthly life on June 22, 2010 in Sentara Obici Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Charles and Carolyn Phillips, 1982 Hosier Road, Suffolk, and at his residence on Bank Street. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service.
