Arthur L. Farmer

Arthur &uot;Bubby&uot; Lindsey Farmer, 57, of Pruden Blvd., died on July 19, 2002.
Born in Norfolk Sept. 12, 1944, he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Mildred Weatherly Farmer and brother of the late Julia Poyner and Charles Farmer. Mr. Farmer was a delivery man for Pinner’s Florist in Suffolk.
Survivors include his children, Lisa Marie Jels of Panama City, Fla., Cherie of Portsmouth and stepson Willie Weaver; sisters, Hope Goode of Hiltons, Shirley Gauthier of Panama City, Fla.; Carolyn Weatherly of Denver, Colo.; brother, Andy (Andrew) Farmer of Demarest, N.J.; nieces and nephews; close friends, Tyesha Cisco Mary Joyner, Roger, Joyce and David Feske of
Suffolk and a host of other friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Felton Whitfield and the Rev. Bill Thorn. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Amos Morgan
Amos Morgan, 63, of 2895 Excelsior Dr., Aston, Pa. died on July 17, 2002.
He was the beloved husband of Frances Morgan and grandson of the late Lorenza and Viola Taylor of Suffolk.
Viewing will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 at Earl L. Foster Funeral Home, 1100 Kerlin St., Chester, Pa. 10013; (610) 874-2877. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 25,
at First Pentecostal Holy Church, Chester, Pa.
Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Chester, Pa.

Stella L. Powell
Stella Lilley Powell, 83, formerly of Suffolk and a native of Gates County, N.C., died at her residence on July 20, 2002. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. R. Stewart McCarter officiating.
