Johnny Allen Boswell, 47, of 3630 Clintwood Road, Midlothian, formerly of Suffolk, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in Raleigh Community Hospital, Raleigh, N.C.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell and Hill Funeral Home, by Pastor Glenn Johnson. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may join the family from 3 to 5 p.m. today in Harrell and Hill Funeral Home, and other times at the home of the sister, Jettie Chavis, 4387 Lake Prince Road, Suffolk.

William C. Eure

William Christopher &uot;Chris&uot; Eure, 30, of 414 Briggs St., Suffolk, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth. A native of Suffolk, he was a son of the late William M. Eure Jr.

He was a welder and machinist for two years at Western Branch Metals. He belonged to New Mt. Joy Family Worship Center.

Survivors include his mother, Myrtle Eure of Suffolk; a sister, Stephania Eure; a brother, Ronnie Jordan; and a godbrother, Byron Parson.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in New Mt. Joy Family Worship Center by Dr. W.P. Wiggins. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.

We, the Eure family and church family, thank all those who came to show love and appreciation for Chris this day. Special thanks goes to Bishop Abraham Applewhite and Good News Funeral Home for a professional and courteous service.

William T. Harrell

William Thomas Harrell, 84, of Suffolk, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002. A native of Suffolk, he was born on Sept. 29, 1917. Mr. Harrell was the son of the late Emma Smith and Percy Samuel Harrell, and was predeceased by a sister, Mary Emma Harrell Horton.

Mr. Harrell was a lifetime member of Liberty Spring Christian Church, where he served in many church offices, and served as church treasurer for many years. He was also a deacon emeritus of the church. He was a 50-plus-year member of McAllister Masonic Lodge in Whaleyville.

Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary Eason Dorow, and son, Thomas Stanley Harrell, both of Suffolk; and two grandchildren, Thomas Nolan Harrell and Phillip Eason.

The family would like to thank Lou Ellen Nurney for her care of Mr. Harrell.

The graveside service with Masonic rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Liberty Spring Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Dolan A. Talbert.

The family will be at the home of Thomas Harrell, 427 Clover Lane, from 1 to 5 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439.
