Kimberly Boyette, Jesse Bass united in Cypress Chapel

Kimberly Dawn Boyette and Jesse James Bass were married on Saturday, July 20, 2002, in Cypress Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. David Jendery.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Boyette IV of Suffolk.

The groom is the son of Sherry Fulk of Suffolk, and the late Jerry Bass Sr.

The bride is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alton Fowler, and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Abernathy, and the late James Boyette.

The groom is the maternal grandson of Mrs. Carrie Whitfield, and the late Mr. Benjamin Whitfield, and the paternal grandson of Mrs. Frances Bass, and the late Mr. Ernest Bass.

Julie Boyette, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were: Tracy Kerlee and Kimberly Oliver, both sisters of the groom; Dana Fowler and Dana Messinger, both friends of the bride.

Jerry Bass, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were: Jamie Groves, Jason Byrum, Jacob Foster, and Nathan Munford, all friends of the groom.

The reception took place in Holland Community House.

The couple went to Kiawah Island, S.C.
