Suffolk Police responded to the scene of a shooting around 5:20 p.m., Monday, when a father allegedly shot his son in the leg following an argument between the two.

Police responded to a residence in the 9800 block of S. Quay Road following the incident. Nightingale Air Ambulance Service was requested, but cancelled after paramedics arrived and began treating the victim.

No details were available on the father and son. The matter remains under investigation.
