News from Holy Neck UCC includes inspirational, educational and fun-filled events.

On Saturday night, Sept. 28, the Outreach Committee sponsored a delightful event, &uot;La Fiesta Italiana,&uot; with approximately80 in attendance.

A traditional Italian meal was enjoyed, after which a program was held.

The main event of the evening was the crowning of two lovely ladies who wore the title &uot;Mrs. Italy 2002.&uot;

Mrs. Ethel Saunders and Mrs. Elizabeth Simons each were presented with a crown, a banner, flowers, and a gift.

All proceeds from the event were donated to the church for renovation.

The Outreach Committee did an excellent job of planning and carrying out this event.

Sunday night, Sept. 29, a community &uot;singspiration&uot; was held.

The Friendly Fellowship of Holy Neck met Saturday, Oct. 5 with 32 members and guests present.

A CPR Class was sponsored Obici Foundation for Community Health Improvement was held Oct. 5.
