POW coming to Suffolk

A Vietnam prisoner-of-war will be in town this week speaking on lessons learned in captivity.
Ret. USAF Col. Ed Hubbard, who was held hostage by the North Vietnamese for 2,420 days, is on a whirlwind tour across Hampton Roads this week.
From 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, he will be at in Suffolk, at St. Andrew’s Church, 1885 Bridge Road.
Hubbard, released by North Vietnam in 1973, earned five college degrees in seven years while he continued his military career.
His tour is sponsored by the local representatives of Edward Jones Investments.
