Sarah A. Oliver

Sarah Ashley Oliver, 66, of 319 Bruce St., Suffolk, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
A native of Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late Hurley Ashley and Bessie Mae Lodge Ashley. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Tami D. Oliver, and a son, Brett A. Oliver.
She had retired as a bookkeeper for Angus I. Hines Inc., after 22 years of service and for Oliver’s Auto Transport, Inc.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Michael T. Oliver of Suffolk, and Todd L. and Shelly A. Oliver of Suffolk; grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah, Michaela, Jessica, Layne, Bria, and Chase Oliver; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy A. and Ben Chapman of Suffolk, Betty A. and John White of Norfolk, and Sandra A. and Steve Van Doren of Westminster, Md.; and six nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. in Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev Gretchum Nelson officiating.
There was a visitation on Wednesday night. There will be no visitation on Thursday night, and friends may join the family on Friday after the service at the home of her sister, Peggy Chapman. The family apologizes for any inconvenience due to an error in paper.
