Market Days set for Saturday here

People will be able to buy fresh produce, baked goods, jams and jellies at Market Days Holiday Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 14.
More than 30 crafters and vendors will be selling their wares at the event being held at John F. Kennedy Middle School, 2523 E. Washington St.
The event is being sponsored by the City of Suffolk Downtown Development and the Division of Tourism.
Local church choirs will also be giving holiday performances throughout the day.
Other activities planned include a lecture on the celebration of Kwanzaa by Dr. E. Curtis Alexander of ECA Associates at 1 p.m. and a demonstration on how to create festive holiday decorations at 2 p.m. by local florist Linda Collins of Heaven’s Touch Florist & Gifts. Admission is free.
