A fire caused $20,000 in damage to a house and property at 214 Webb St. Friday afternoon.

Flames were contained to the rear bedroom, and there was heavy heat and smoke damaged to the four-room frame dwelling.

There were no injuries.

Suffolk Police had been called to the site earlier yesterday for a domestic disturbance.

The cause is under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s office.
