Lady Saints recover from tough loss with big win

Lexi Holland knocked in 12 points, Ann-Taylor Spain 11 and Parris Grieder and Claire Leonard 10 apiece as Nansemond-Suffolk Academy recovered from Thursday’s loss to Western Branch with a 61-11 defeat of Williamsburg Christian in the opening round of the Academies Christmas Tournament at Isle of Wight Academy on Friday. The Lady Saints will battle the winner of Friday night’s Isle of Wight/Southampton game for the tournament championship at 6 p.m. today.
