Virginia &uot;Jenny Mae&uot; Jones, 50, of 711 Remus Lane, Suffolk, passed away quietly on Saturday, Feb. 1 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born on Dec. 17, 1952 to Beatrice Watson White and the late Charlie White. One granddaughter, April Jones, preceded her in death.

She was a member of New Mt. Joy Family Worship Center of Suffolk.

She had retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station.

She is survived by a very devoted longtime friend, James Bailey; three daughters, Paula Jones-Riddick, Leslie Jones and Erica Jones; two sons, Leon and Reginald Jones; four sisters, Connie Drayton, Sandra Davis, Brenda Johnson, and Annette Beale; one brother, Preston Davis; a special niece and nephew Jasmine Watson and Breon Drayton; four grandchildren; and several cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Mt. Joy Family Worship Center with Dr. William Wiggins officiating. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Viewing will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Monday.
