Edward F. Belcher

Edward &uot;Eddie&uot; Franklin Belcher, 71, of 220 Chestnut St., died on March 3, 2003. He retired in 1995 as owner and operator of Belcher’s Paving.
He was a native of Hopewell and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Daisy Belle and George Henry Belcher.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rachel A. Belcher, daughter, Brenda B. Alley of Beaufort ,N.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie H. and Donna K. Belcher of Windsor; five grandchildren, Edward Lee Belcher and Alexis Brianna Belcher of Windsor; sister-in-law, Alice Belcher of Roanoke.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 7 at Community Baptist Church with Pastor David Nicholes officiating. Burial will be in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may join the family from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
