Barbara Eloise Saunders, 50, of 1163 COGIC Square, Suffolk, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, in Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County, and the daughter of the late Eugene and Ethel Hall Saunders. A son, Craig Saunders, predeceased her in death.

She is survived by four daughters, Angela Saunders, Tiffany Saunders, Latoya Saunders and Laurie Saunders, all of Suffolk; three sons, Reginald Saunders, William Saunders and Terrell Saunders, all of Suffolk; two brothers, Joe Saunders and Alvin Saunders, both of Suffolk; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13 in New Mt. Zion Holiness Church by Bishop Everlena Riddick. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
