Johnnie Mae Mitchell of Suffolk entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, March 23, 2003. Her late husband, Clarence Mitchell, and her parents Johnnie Jones and Mary Ellis Jones, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rallie (Brenda) Jones, and Charles (LaTonya) Jones. A stepdaughter and her husband, Lillian (Albert) Jones. She is also survived by three sisters, Rebecca Stevenson, Mabel Howell, and Gracie Bunch and one brother, Enos Jones; also nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be assembling at 11 a.m. at 213 Maple St., Suffolk.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Professional service entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
