The Inaugural Larry Branch Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, May 2 at the Suffolk Golf Course with a shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m. The fee is $200 for a four-person team.

Bowling party to be held May 4

The Family Medicine Associate Relay for Life 2003 Team will sponsor a Bowling Party at the Franklin Bowling Center on Armory Drive beginning at 3 p.m. May 4. Tickets are $13 each which includes shoe rental, two games of bowling pizza, cookies and soft drinks. In addition, four lanes will be equipped with bumpers so small children can participate.

YMCA to hold lifeguarding classes

The Suffolk YMCA will be holding lifeguarding classes in May and June. The first class will be held on Fridays from May 2-30 from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. The second class, designed for those finishing up the school year, will be held June 9-13.
