Samuel &uot;Barch&uot; Judkins Jr. of Smithfield was called home by his heavenly father on Saturday, May 3, 2003.

He was employed at Smithfield Packing Plant for 44 years.

Samuel Judkins Jr. was a member of Sandy Mount Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Evangeline M. Judkins; one son, Eric T. Judkins of Surry; three daughters, Janice M. Delk of Newport News; Norma J. Judkins (Jessie) and Glenda D. Uzzle (Michael), both of Windsor; three sisters; a mother-in-law; and

many grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Cooke Bros.-Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield. Burial will be held in the Tynes Memorial Cemetery.

Viewing will be held from 1-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
