Wilma Jean Brown, 62, of 209 Woodrow Ave., Suffolk, died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at her residence. A native of Herford County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Willey and Geneva Jenkins Anderson, and the widow of Willie Henry Brown.

She is survived by a son, Michael A. Brown of Suffolk; a sister, Ernestine Mack of Suffolk; nieces, Frances Robinson, Janie Williams and Willie Mae Williams; great-nieces and great-nephews, Rhonda Taylor, Lisa Taylor, Fern Freeman, Russell Robinson, and Dell Williams; close friends, Florence Robinson and Beulah Lawrence; cousins and other friends.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, in Crocker Funeral Home by Bishop Dwight Whitfield. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
