Henry E. Leggett Sr.

Henry Earl Leggett Sr., 64, of Suffolk, died Sunday, May 18, 2003.
A Norfolk native, he was a son of the late Ulysses T. and Mittie B. Leggett.
He had retired as a machinist for General Foods.
He belonged to the Church of God and Prophecy in Suffolk, and was a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge #141.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jean Leggett of Suffolk; two daughters, Donna M. Leggett and Dorothy G. Leggett (Mike), all of Suffolk; and a son, Henry E. Leggett Jr. (Beth) of Utah; five grandchildren, Richard, Devin, Tyler, Jenna, and Jonathon Leggett; and a brother, Morris R. Leggett of Suffolk.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, in Parr Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Fulton and Pastor Billy Paramour. He will be buried in Nansemond Cemetery.
Friends may join the family from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, and other times at the residence of Dorothy G. Leggett, 899-1/2 Carolina Road.
