Marvis D. Williams departed this life Saturday, May 17, 2003.

A native of Suffolk, he was born on Aug. 20, 1970, to Carolyn Williams and Frederick Eley.

He is survived by his wife, Latonia Williams; a daughter, Aniqua Williams; a son, Dashay Williams; three sisters, Cassandra Williams, Angela Williams and Patrice Williams, all of Suffolk; a brother, Cameon Williams of Tampa, Fla.; three aunts, Carrie Miller, Gloria Emanuel and Theresa Eley; five uncles, Leonard Williams, Bobby Williams, Dan Miller, Samuel Miller, Jerry Kendall, and Kenny Miller. He is also survived by six nieces, five nephews, and many cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, in Greater First Baptist Church Orlando by Dr. Henry G. Baker.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Viewing will be held from noon to 7 p.m., Thursday in T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home, Suffolk.

Following the interment, a repast will follow in the funeral home’s fellowship hall.
