Jerome Harden, 35, of Vermont Avenue, Suffolk, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2003.

A native of Suffolk, he was the son of the late Leslie Harden. He was predeceased by a sister, Palace Lee Harden.

He is survived by his wife, Melody Harden; daughter, Adriane Harden; step-daughter, Carmelita Cruz; son, Michael Harden; stepson, Dwayne Cruz; father, Leon Copeland; sister, Patricia Jenkins; one aunt, Bessie Allen; five uncles, James Harden (Bernice), Thomas (Linda), Elgin (Yvonne), Roy Lee (Joyce), and Robert (Fannie) Harden; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday, June 10, in T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quantico National Cemetery.

There will be no viewing.

The family will greet friends after the service in the funeral home’s fellowship hall.
