Carver Cemetery demands attention

Editor, the News-Herald:
From a personal perspective, I am addressing the unsightly conditions at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
It is disheartening to come from out of town to visit the gravesites of my parents only to discover weeds, debris and uncut grass in the vicinity. This has occurred on several occasions.
Proper upkeep of the cemetery should be the responsibility of the owner of this property. The owner has a moral responsibility to the Suffolk community whose family members are buried at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Action must be taken to correct these deplorable conditions.
