Jack Graham Spence Sr., 86, of Richmond, formerly of Suffolk, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betsy Syme Spence; two daughters, Susan Redwine and Nancy Spangenthal; two sons, Jack Graham Spence Jr. and Russell Brandon Spence; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Sara S. Butler; and one brother, Dr. William Milton Spence.

The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 23, in the home of Dr. and Mrs. William James Redwine, 3725 Barrington Bridge Place, Richmond.
