Ashli Brooke White graduated in May from East Carolina University with a BS in criminal justice and was on the honor roll all four years. While at ECU, she was elected Vice President of the Student Union and appointed Chairperson of the Board of Directors. She is the daughter of Jeff and Kathy Pond of Smithfield and Greg White of Chesapeake.

Her grandparents are Vurnell and Randy Turner of Suffolk, and Irvin White and the late Donna White of Decorah, Iowa.

Ashli will attend Weidner University School of Law in Wilmington, Del. in the fall.
