Serge Brown III, son of Serge Brown Jr. and Lillian Ricks Brown, was born on May 21, 1984, in Suffolk. The Lord called him home Tuesday, June 24, 2003.

He was employed by Norshipco.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Lillian Ricks Brown; his father, Serge Brown Jr.; one son, Taijay Hodges; two sisters, Yashica Brown and Aliyah Brown; six aunts, Barbara Figgs, Linda Ensley, Carolyn Ricks, Rowena Langley, Sylvia Lawton, and Gloria Lawton; five uncles, Herbert Turner, Adrian Brown, Leroy Davis, James Turner, and Steve Lawton; one niece, Shaquana Brown; one nephew, Daquan Brown; cousins and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Saturday, June 28, in Healing Chapel Baptist Church in Suffolk. Interment will be in Healing Chapel Church Cemetery.
