Thurman W. Banton, 76, of Suffolk, died Thursday, June 26, 2003.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 29, in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church in Zuni, with the Rev. Steve Bradshaw and the Rev. Dolan Talbert officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may join the family from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service, and other times at the residence.
