Mr. William A. Daughtrey, 86, of 804 W. Constance Rd.-Apt. 507, died June 28, 2003, at his residence.

He was a native of Gates, N.C. He was the son of the late Arthur Daughtrey and Betty Daughtrey. He was a retired gardener.

His survivors include his wife, Ethel Daughtrey of Suffolk; four sisters, Erma Johnson, Ella Mae Wilson and Betty Deloatch, all of Suffolk and Eutha Mae Valler of Landover, Md.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a devoted friend, Ruby Lester.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Madison Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Mrs. Ella Mae Wilson, 632 Third Ave.
