Storm knocks tree onto house

The storm that ripped through parts of Suffolk early Thursday damaged a house in the 2400 block of Cherry Grove Road in Whaleyville. Rashae Cook, wife of Chesapeake Firefighter Charles Cook, was awakened around 1 a.m. after wind gusts sent an ancient oak tree crashing onto the roof. There farmhouse suffered no major structural damages and no one was injured.
