Annie Wesson Wellons, 89, of 100 Dover Court, Apt. 400, Suffolk, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, in Obici Hospital.

A native of Windsor, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Vann and Cinderella Askew Wesson, and the widow of Joseph Wellons.

She was a member of Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Bernard Wesson of Petersburg; a cousin, Annie Wilson of Windsor, N.C.; a devoted friend, Mother Marie Sykes of Suffolk; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 7, in Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church by Elder Howard Green. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

The wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Crocker Funeral Home. The family will assemble at 2 p.m. Monday at Crocker Funeral Home for the procession to the funeral.
