Janice Edwards Holland, 90, of Jordan Dr., died Tuesday, July 29, 2003 in Obici Hospital.

She was a native of Nansemond County and a retired secretary. Mrs. Holland was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Richard Corbell Holland preceded Mrs. Holland in death.

Survivors include: a daughter, Janice Ritchie Holland, Smithfield; brother , Fletcher G. &uot;F.G.&uot; Edwards and his wife, Nancy of Smithfield and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harry Spear, and Dr. Donald R. Rhoton officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Smithfiled. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield.
