Alecia A. Savage

On Wednesday, July 30, 2003, the Lord sent his angels to bring home one of his beloved children, Alecia Ann &uot;Lisa&uot; Savage, daughter of the late Randolph and Violet Savage.

Born in Accomack County of the Eastern Shore, she then relocated to Trenton, N.J. and worked as a nurse technician in a state behavior institute.

Six years ago she moved to Suffolk taking a job at Obici Hospital as a nurse aide and unit secretary.

She was a faithful and loyal employee of Obici until her death.

Surviving to cherish her precious memory are a son, Terry L. Brown; three brothers, Ronald Savage of Neptune, N.J.; Larry Savage of Waco, Texas; and Wendell Savage of Norristown, Pa.; two sisters, Lillian &uot;Lil&uot; Lankford and Joyce Annette Savage, both of Wilmington, Del.; three sisters-in-law; aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, close friends and the Obici staff in 1 med/oncology.

The farewell ceremony was held Monday, Aug. 4, in Obici Hospital with words of comfort from the Rev. T. Reynolds, hospital chaplain, and a solo from the staff.

Alecia Savage was laid to rest in Dea’s Chapel Church Cemetery, Horntown, on Monday, Aug. 4, 2003.

Thanks to everyone for donations, prayers and thoughtfulness.

She will be sadly missed. Her smile and humor will forever be remembered. God bless her, may she rest in peace.
