Melvin Rouhlac, 84, of 102 North Fourth St., Suffolk, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, in Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. He was a native of Suffolk, and was the son of the late Wright Routhlac and Arizona Hallac Rouhlac.

His survivors include two sisters, Marie Mouling-Marison of S.C.; Linnie Gilmore of Philadelphia, Pa.; one brother-in-law, Deacon Earley Gay Sr. of Suffolk; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church by Overseer Bailey Hall. Interment will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery.
