Mr. and Mrs. Demetrius K. Downs announce the renewal of their wedding vows on Sept. 6. They will have been married one year today, Aug. 31.

Amanda Dinease Outlaw Downs is the daughter of Angelia Lundy and Milton F. Mizell. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Outlaw, and the paternal granddaughter of the late Jonah Mizell and Priscilla Mizell.

Demetrius is the son of Mrs. Diane Burr and Frank Downs.

Amanda is a 1998 graduate of Lakeland High School and attends Bryant and Stratton College.

Demetrius graduated in 1997 from Tift County High School, Tifton, Ga.

Amanda is employed by Advance America.

Demetrius is employed by the U.S. Navy.

The ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Road.

The couple will honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
