Margaret Speight Glaus, 92, of Suffolk, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003.

A native of Suffolk, she was the widow of Arvin Luther Knight and Andrew Butler Glaus. She was a daughter of the late John Harvey Speight and Mary Elizabeth Jones Speight.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church in which she attended the Ladies Star Class. She also attended the Senior Fellowship Club.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty K. and John H. &uot;Tom&uot; West of Suffolk; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Mary G. and Jim Schwalm of Arizona; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Andrew B. and Martha Glaus of Arizona; grandchildren, Bonnie W. and Bennie Speight, Johnny H. and Becke West, all of Suffolk; great grandchildren, Pamela and Nicole Speight, and Joshua and Brittany West, all of Suffolk; and a sister, Helen Savage of Suffolk.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept 7, at Bethlehem Christian Church, with the Rev. Jonathan Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
