Rudolph B. Lynch

Rudolph Brinkley Lynch, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003.
A native of Nansemond County, he was the son of the late James Carey and Eva Brinkley Lynch. He was also predeceased by his son, Charles C. Lynch, and a brother, James C. Lynch.
He had retired as a salesman from Pruden Hardware.
He was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church, where he attended the Men’s Bible Class and was a former usher.
Survivors include a son and daughters-in-law, Larry E. and Sandra W. Lynch of Midlothian; and Betsy J. Lynch of Chester; grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Derek, and Stephen Lynch; sister, Dorothy O’Berry of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in Cypress Chapel Christian Church, by Dr. Willis I. Dowling and Dr. John R. Kimball. Place of interment will be in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Parr Funeral Home.
