The Nansemond River Medical Center at 150 Burnett’s Way, next to Obici Hospital, was officially opened Tuesday evening.

Participating in the ribbon-cutting are, l-r: Mayor E. Dana Dickens III; A.J. DiStasioII, M.D.; David Goss, M.D.; Michael Romash, M.D.; Melinda Stapleton; Rick Stapleton, certified practitioner; and Jacquelynn F. Baker, manager. A reception followed the ceremony. The building is already occupied by Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, Neurosurgical Associates, Tidewater Prosthetic Center Inc., Virginia Oncology Associates, and there’s room for more.
