Nansemond-Suffolk Academy students participated in a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday morning, kicking off the future expansion of the NSA’s Lower School. With helmets on their heads and shovels in hand, 11 students line up to dig the first spadefuls of dirt: Dwight Williams (Kindergarten); Jason Mehta (Grade 2); Rudge Lones (Grade 4); Hannah Boyer (Grade 1); Michaela Phillips (Grade 3); Alex McClain (Grade 6); Drew Yost (Grade 5); Mary Shaffer Speight (Grade 12); Allen Hotchkiss (Grade 8); Kenny Rice (Grade 6); Ashley Anderson (Grade 7).
