Dora Worrell

Ms. Dora Worrell, 92, of 212 St. James Ave., Suffolk, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, in Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She was a native of Southampton County and a daughter of the late Georgia Mae Darden.
She had retired from Planters Peanut Company.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mahan Street, and a member of the Missionary Circle and Lily of the Valley Club.
Her survivors include two daughters, Virgie W. Sandifer, and her husband, Thomas, and Barbara W. Frier, and her husband, Randolph, all of Suffolk; two sisters, Maggie Riddick of Franklin, and Cora Hill of Murfreesboro, N.C.; three grandchildren, Marvin Elam (Heather), Marcus Elam (Laura) and Eddie Holland (Andrea); and six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 8 in First Baptist Church, Mahan Street, by the Rev. Steven G. Blunt. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church at noon Monday.
