SSC First Class Bobby Earl Arrington, the son of Clarence Arrington and Almena Finch Arrington,

departed this life on Dec. 1, 2003, at Malcolm Grove Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

He was born on Jan. 15, 1947 in Rocky Mountain, N.C and attended the former East Suffolk High School. During high school he joined the Job Corps. He then joined the United States Army and received a Purple Heart after he returned from the Vietnam War. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1992.

He is survived by two sons, Hugh Robert Arrington and Mark Arrington; one daughter, Roselyn Delisa Arrington and two grandsons, Hugh Robert Arrington Jr. and Joseph Brent Buckner Jr.

He will be laid to rest in Maryland Veteran Cemetery. He will be forever loved, remembered, and missed in all the hearts he had touched. We love you daddy.
