Lucille Young Baker, 73, of Suffolk, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, in Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation Center.

She was former member of Ash Grove Baptist Church, and the wife of the late Mexlon Cofield Baker.

Her survivors include four sons, Cofield and Michael Baker, both of Carrollton; Joyle Baker of Suffolk; and James Baker of Smithfield; six daughters, Mary Holland of Windsor; Clarice and Angel Baker, both of Suffolk; Anna Winnegan of Carrollton; Linda Baker of Smithfield; and Barbara Munford of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; two brothers; nine sisters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Cooke Brothers-Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield.

Viewing will be held from 1-7 p.m. Friday in the chapel.
