Mrs. Anita Manuel of 104 White Hall Arch, Suffolk, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, in Obici Hospital.

She was a native of Nansemond County, and the daughter of the late Mildred Warren Wilson. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Ollie Manuel.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Alexandria Wilson of Suffolk; one son, Andre Manuel of Suffolk; her father, William Copeland (Gail) of Reading, Pa.; two sisters, Shirley Blount (Larry) of Norfolk, and Louise Young (James) of Smithfield; six brothers, Alton Wilson (Patricia) and David Wilson (Ruby) all of Windsor; William Wilson, Calvin Wilson (Ramona), Joseph Wilson, and Clarence Wilson (Brenda), all of Suffolk; one grandchild, Malik Wilson; two aunts, Mary Berry and Frances Gray; two uncles, Bishop Clarence Copeland and Willie James Warren; seven brothers-in-law; one sister; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in New Jones Baptist Church, Windsor, by the Rev. Alvin Pierce. Interment will be held in New Jones Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor.
