MLK Committee plans celebration

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration Committee met recently in East End Baptist Church to make plans for the program that will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 19 in Nansemond River High School. Anyone who would like to work with the committee is urged to attend. The MLK Day Committee is receiving nominations for the 2004 &uot;I Have a Dream Award.&uot; The award can be given to any person or group in Suffolk that actively exemplifies the ideals of Dr. King.
