Rosa Slaughter earns degree

Mrs. Rosa Scott-Slaughter graduated on Dec. 13, 2003, with a bachelor of business administration from Averett University in Danville.
While attending Averett, she maintained a 3.4 grade point average.
Mrs. Scott-Slaughter is employed at the City of Portsmouth Library, where she has received numerous accomplishments and awards from the city.
Also, she has certificates from the State Library, University of Richmond, TCC, Christian Newport University, and the University of Tennessee.
She is the wife of Samuel &uot;Kim&uot; Slaughter, the mother of Samuel D’El, and the daughter of the late Carrie V. Scott.
