Disc Jockey Shep Moss and his business, Party Time Music, will be spinning tunes all night. Attire is semi-formal.

Vicky Pinchbeck, a member of the sorority, said the 911 Emergency Dispatchers of the Suffolk Police Department would be assisting with the event.

&uot;The dispatchers go by the name ECHO, or Emergency Communicators Helping Others, and they truly live up to their name,&uot; said Pinchbeck. &uot;During the Sweetheart Ball, they will be helping with setup sales and the coat checks.

&uot;We hope that everyone will help support their community service efforts by offering tips for the coat checks as well as purchasing setups for our BYOB event.&uot;

People attending the ball will want a keepsake of the event. Photographer Sam Hughes will take pictures and sell them during the event.

This event is sponsored by the sororities that make up Beta Sigma Phi, including Xi Delta Delta and their Queen, Diana Klink; Laureate Alpha Lambda and Queen Midge Nichols; and

Xi Beta Iota and Queen Jenell Klotz.

Tickets are $10 per person or $20 per couple.
