Police still seek clues about man killed last week

Police investigators are still looking for information relating to the murder of a Suffolk man last weekend.
Authorities have learned that Tyrone Cotton Jr., 19, was last seen in the area of East Washington and 10th streets around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 23, said Lt. Debbie George, spokeswoman for the Suffolk Police Department. Hunters discovered his body off a logging path in the 1200 block of Babbtown Road on Jan. 24.
Cotton had died from gunshot wounds, she said.
Police are asking anyone who saw Cotton on Friday evening or anyone knowing anything about this crime to contact Detective E.C. Harris, 923-2193, or Detective C.M. Gonzalez, 923-2194.
