Mary L. Luster of Suffolk announces the engagement of her daughter, Sandra J. Thorne, to Glenn L. Finney Jr., both of Suffolk.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn L. Finney Sr. of Nelsonia.

Miss Thorne is a converter refurbisher for Charter Communications.

Mr. Finney is a transportation system administrator for SYSCO Hampton Roads.

The wedding will take place April 24.
