Television producer and writer, Beth Polson, a Coreapeake, N.C., native, is returning to town this weekend for signing of her latest book, &uot;Secret Santa.&uot;
Polson will be making her second appearance at Herb’s Bar-B-Q, 868 Carolina Road, from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 6. In December, she had a sellout signing at the restaurant where she spent four years waitressing during her high school and college years.
&uot;It was great to see so many old customers as well as lots of family and friends. I couldn’t believe the turnout,&uot; Polson said. &uot;Because so many people who wanted books didn’t get them, Herb asked me to come back for another book signing.&uot;
Previous signings in North Carolina have benefited the Albemarle Hopeline, a shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and the Alan Polson Cancer Fund at First Federal Savings Bank to benefit Polson’s nephew who is a resident of Suffolk.
