James Bazemore, 76, of Suffolk, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, in Obici Hospital.

A native of North Carolina, he was the son of the late Hugh Jene Bazemore and Dennie Harrell Bazemore.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in Crocker Funeral Home, conducted by Elder Sylvester Silver Sr. of Gates of Heaven Church of God in Christ.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
