Obici offers new services for patients

Obici Health Care System held a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon Monday for their new &uot;Outpatient Infusion Center.&uot;

Previously known as the outpatient chemotherapy center, the infusion center and its state of the art equipment will serve patients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointments on weekends.

Christine Lynch, RN, a coordinator at the outpatient infusion center, said the facility is currently accepting referrals for chemotherapy, injections, Mediport flushes, blood transfusions, antibiotic therapy and PICC line dressing changes. All referrals are scheduled by physicians.

The Outpatient Infusion Center is conveniently located on the first floor of the hospital, located at 2800 Godwin Boulevard. For more information on the center, call 934-4301.
