Janet LaVerne Williamson of Patterson, N.J., died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, in the 800 block of Haskins Drive, Suffolk.

Janet was born on Jan. 13, 1959, in Nansemond County.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Alphonso Felton; her stepfather, John Morris Godette; and a son, Joshua Williamson.

Janet is survived by her husband, Richardo Williamson of Paterson; her mother, Evelyn M. Godette of Suffolk; her son, Montain Jordan of Glenville, W.Va.; her daughter, Nikkia Jordan of Suffolk; one grandson, Montain Jordan Jr. of Suffolk; one brother, Randy D. Jordan of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Tonya Godette (Keith) of Portsmouth; one foster brother, Michail Giles Sr. of Suffolk; grandmother, Mary Jordan of Suffolk; one niece, Shoranda Lewis (Jerry) of Suffolk; two nephews, Michael Giles Jr. and Keishan Jordan; many uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Oak Grove Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Anthony Copeland. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Visitation will be at 810 Haskins Drive, Suffolk.
